When it comes too donkey kicks, you have to know how too perform the exact leg movement so you get great results while performing the exercise. Growing up, when I worked out I've always made the mistake of just doing the workout and judging it based off an image I found that made it seem like I already knew how too perform that exact exercise but that was the mistake!
You see, as I began realizing it, I needed too really do my research before each workout and see how too perform it in the best, way, POSSIBLE! Guess what? Thats EXACTLY what I did & I not only noticed my legs getting very toned & full of strength but I also found that I was seeing better results with the duration of the exercise. Everytime I stayed consistent with my workouts I ended up seeing so much more results & not only that; it continued to get easier and easier for me too perform lunges!
A lot of people were sending me messages about the best way to do lunges so I decided to just right it down in steps that i've found works best for me to remember- How to do donkey kicks. Hope it helps!
How To Do Donkey Kicks By Angie Al Far
Step 1. Start on the ground on your hands and knees at shoulder’s and hip’s width.
Step 2. Keep your abs and gluts tight and raise your right heel towards to the ceiling so that your foot is directly above your butt. Make sure to keep your thigh no higher than your torso to avoid injuring your spine.
Step 3. Hold the position and slowly return your knee towards the ground without touching it.
Step 4. Repeat 15 times on each leg and perform 3 sets. You can also boost your workout by strapping on ankle weights.
