What is consideRed "Healthy?"
After long hours of critical consideration, I have decided to research all the different Health Foods that I knew were sort of healthy, just to be sure. I couldn't believe all the different unhealthy things that were filled with stuff I HAD NO IDEA could be IN foods! This Blog is a favorite of mine and I can't wait too share with you guys what my version of healthy foods really is!
Corn syrup...this one hit homE.
As I grew up, my mom would always buy us snacks and food that were my FAVORITE! Yes, I'm talking Twinkies, cookies with vanilla frosting stuffed, marshmallow goodness, all of it! I would always eat that growing up and my mom nor I knew the truth just yet. My mom claims she had a good idea about it being unhealthy but she wanted us too love our childhood so she didn't hold back. Only once in a while she would cut out bad snacks. But now that I'm older and much more wiser...I did my research and I found out the hard way that....Most Processed snacks and goodies and almost everything that is not naturally made like fruits or vegetables has some type of Corn Substance inside!! Don't Believe me? Read the Label. Any type of Corn Syrup, Corn Label...ANY of that is not good for you. It's actually what makes you fat.
It gets WORSE.
I think the worst part was not only the fact that most things I ate were filled with corn syrup..but even the things I "thought" were healthy like for instance...some cereals that claimed they were healthy..were still filled with Corn Syrup and that changed my entire outlook on foods ever SINCE. I couldn't believe my eyes..the truth was right in front of me all along I guess I was just ignoring the truth. Even though I was feeling a little regret I knew that if I moved forward from here with the truth that everything were turn out okay..
how I live my life now in a healthy simple way
After figuring out the truth about the world and what I know knew was true for a FACT. I turned too the one thing I knew wouldn't let me down and was PACKED with healthy Vitamins and Minerals..Fruits & Vegetables !!!!! Oh Watermelon, Pinneapple, and wholesome Berries how you saved me...and so much other fruits and veggies! After switching my lifestyle too a more conservative, open minded way of eating. I couldn't go back too my Old Ways. It was engineered in me or so that's how I was now eating. I couldn't stand eating anything that was filled with unnecessary junk and empty calories anymore. I didn't completely get rid of my unhealthy eating but I minimized it too such a minimum percentage of intake that I'm so blessed for realizing the truth.
